The trip to see sperm whales was defenitly worth the price! Once in a lifetime experience. Caine is a great tripleader and our captain Parnell and his colleague John did all in their power to take us to see as many whales as possible and this in a very respectful manner. But like he said 'you gotta work for it'. Needless to say, working hard for it paid off! I saw them from really close a couple of times! My favourite was Pinchy ;) Hope to be able to go on expedition again with Caine or a colleague of his. I also had really nice people in my group and there was a lady in the next group I wished I gotten to know better. She was so nice! The staff from the hotel and the hotel itself were for me a perfect match. Quiet and big rooms, located on a hill with an amazing view. The sounds at night, so relaxing! The only thing I could warn about is: it can be really hot and protect yourself very well against mosquitoes during dusk. Kind regards Olivia

DesHands down the best trip I’ve taken, and that’s really because of the team behind Just the Wild. Shane was incredible at running the team! He was always enthusiastic, and made sure everyone was ok. Antoine and Larris who ran the dive shop, always went above and beyond for each participant! Shane, Antoine, and Laris truly made it feel like a little family vs tourists! In addition to being attentive to each participant, they all truly cared and respected the whales! I also personally loved that Tubuai was more remote which meant more care for the whales not being overcrowded by tourism. I would definitely book with Just the Wild again!cription text goes here

My trip dates were on the 1st week of April and there were 6 guests on the trip plus our trip leader Aimee. Everything was really well organized from before the trip started all the way to the end. Caine was very prompt on his communications via email. When i arrived in Dominica all the transport and accomodation was already arranged so i basically didnt need to lift a finger. The whole experience was amazing, Aimee was so welcoming and friendly. She gave really clear instructions when swimming with the whales and the whole experience was made super enjoyable! Would highly recommend booking your whale swimming tours with just the wild.

It was the trip of a lifetime for me and I do not regret investing the money, it was very much worth it. I said I experienced the best day of my life during that trip and I say it again, I will never forget the whales dancing with the dolphins, that moment when one whale came back to the surface just in front of me, the moment we went looking for that singing whale, the whale jumping in the waves about 20 m from us as we were all swimming in the moody ocean... So many memories I will forever cherish, thank you Caine and just the wild!

One of the most incredible experiences, curated by professional and passionate individuals. Day one on the water, I could have gladly flown back at the end of the day satisfied by such remarkable, mind blown encounters.... let alone knowing there was still more days to go (and days three and four were so phenomenal, I feel like I've now peaked at life). The whale behaviours I witnessed were so incredible, and there is no comparable feeling to being in the water watching these gentle giants. Thanks so much Caine and Just the Wild. Definitely will be booking another trip in the near future.

I can’t even describe in words how amazing this trip was! Magical animal encounters (not a given or a guarantee- we were just incredibly lucky), perfectly harmonising travel group (not a given neither), phenomenal captain (Des), fantastic guide & photographer (Aimee), great food, safe and clean accommodation. I couldn’t have wished for more! Absolutely magical! Caine is such a phenomenal person, and amazing photographer. Choosing to go on one of his trips was a no brainer for me. Ironically, he wasn’t even guiding, and I was introduced the what must be the kindest and most amazing person, Ocean Aimee, one of his guides. Not only did she do a fantastic job organizing the trip, keeping us supported, but she also is an award winning photographer! How amazing is that to have. Couple all this with a completely unique, one of a kind experience in the little known country of Timor-leste and phenomenal blue whales and that alone would have been 11/10 on the trip. To add even more to all that, I was blessed with the best group one could hope for, an amazing on site guide captaining, and we saw 8 different cetaceans in 7 days! While 7 days might sound like a lot, trust me, everyday was full and left me wanting more drops. Blue whales. Sperm whales. Melon headed. The list goes on. What an adventure. From the moment I signed up for the Swim with Sperm whales in Dominica, I had a wide array of emotions. I didn’t know what to expect. It turned out to be one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of my life. Swimming alongside these beautiful whales was an absolute dream come true. The sheer beauty of the underwater world and the gracefulness of the whales took my breath away. The feeling of being in their presence was truly humbling and surreal. The crew was knowledgeable and passionate Caine and the crew on the boat played a crucial role in ensuring a successful and memorable swim with whales experience. They possess extensive knowledge about the behavior and patterns of the whales. They understand the best locations and times to spot these magnificent creatures. With their expertise, they can navigate the waters effectively, increasing the chances of encountering whales. They follow guidelines and regulations to ensure minimal disturbance to these whales. I was very nervous about the experience I don’t have a lot of experience in the ocean and Caine Delaney accompanied us throughout the swims and took the time to make sure we were comfortable in the water. His patience and expertise and enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement and made me feel safe in the water. Their respect for the whales' natural habitat and commitment to responsible practices were evident throughout the entire experience. One particular moment that stands out in my memory is when one of the whales let us swim right beside it for about, what seemed 5 min. It was an encounter I will cherish forever. This whale allowed us to swim with it in their world. It was an experiences that left me in complete awe. The professionalism of Just the Wild expeditions was remarkable. They were well-organized and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
